Summary

The Marketing Consultant works with Heinz Marketing clients to market products and services by developing and implementing sales acceleration and lead generation campaigns; assisting in preparing promotional materials; coordinating planning meetings and trade shows; preparing sales and marketing results and measurement reports. The role requires significant cross-functional collaboration with client’s marketing, management, and support team, as well as external third party vendors and partners.

Essential Functions

• Operate in a marketing project management role.

• Implement marketing programs across multiple channels including Marketing Automation platforms, SEO, email web site, social media, advertising and more.

• Work with Account Director, client, and internal and third party resources/vendors (project team) to execute marketing campaigns from start to finish.

• Manage campaigns including: production of the communication, list generation, content and offer development, design, approval, fulfillment, test and refinement plans.

• Analyze and report on campaign performance.

• Develop schedules and track key initiative dates under tight deadlines.

• Assist with budget tracking.

• Track and escalate any program issues as appropriate by keeping a close eye on deadlines and communicating to the project team when they are at risk.

• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Five (5) plus years’ experience in relevant marketing and project management positions. B2B experience is preferred. Agency experience is a plus.
  • Basic project management skills.
  • Experience developing and executing multi-channel marketing campaigns.
  • Experience working with Marketing Automation Platforms to develop and administer campaign programs that incorporate inbound and outbound channels.
  • Strong analytical skills for reviewing and reporting on performance through multiple channels. Ability to analyze revenue pipeline contribution a plus.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of current social media channels.
  • Prior experience building and managing client-vendor relationships and ability to foster effective communication
  • Proven track record working with various cross-functional, internal and external groups to deliver meaningful results on time and on budget.
  • Ability to work autonomously and organize complex projects and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Intermediate skill level in MS Office suite including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
  • Must be results focused and detail oriented.
