To Maria, Brian, Erin, Nichole, Meghan, Bailie and Jackie:

Today is Employee Appreciation Day, but on that I feel about the same way I do about Thanksgiving weekend. Thanksgiving shouldn’t be the time when you start (or finish!) thanking people, and I feel the same about today and you.

As you know, we take our values seriously as a company. They define how we work, what we prioritize, how we serve our clients and more. But I also believe those values set up the criteria by which each of us came together here, and how we operate on a daily basis with and for each other.

I am humbled daily by each of you. Your hard work, creativity, dedication to our clients and generosity in supporting each other’s efforts. You inspire me and each other. You create, daily, an environment where I’m excited to come to work in the morning, and proud of what we’ve done when I drive home. I hope you feel the same.

I feel incredibly lucky and blessed to do what I do for a living, and that simply would not be possible without you. Thank you so much.

PS: To our clients, partners, contractors and vendors reading this, 1) you’re part of our family too, so thank you!, and 2) if you agree with this, I’d love to capture your comments and appreciation for our team in the comments below…
