jasonmiller“How I Work” is one of my favorite recurring features in Inc Magazine as well as via Lifehacker’s This Is How I Work Series, and recently several sales experts (including  Anthony IannarinoDave Brock and Trish Bertuzzi) participated as well.

Periodically moving forward we will feature a new B2B sales, marketing or business leader here answering what have become the standard “How I Work” questions.  Thus far we have featured Carlos HidalgoJohn CookJoe Pulizzi and Craig Rosenberg.

This week I’m excited to feature Jason Miller, who manages content strategy for LinkedIn Marketing Solutions.  He’s a fascinating guy, one of the nation’s top content marketing experts, and also a huge rock & roll fan (and photographer).  He gets stuff done.  Here, in his own words, is how he works:

Location: San Francisco, CA

Current computers: Lenovo Thinkpad (for work), Lenovo Yoga (for personal and my favorite) Lenova Idea Center (All in one tabletop for photography)

Current mobile devices: Galaxy Note 3/ Galaxy Gear/ Microsoft Surface RT (The only table that has FULL office. I’m a writer, I need that more than anything)

What do you listen to while at work?
I get a sh*t ton of new music from publicists every week for my music blog. There are a few gems in there that I discover. Lately it’s been an amazing new band called Brick and Mortar. They write the most amazing music I think I may have ever heard. Other than that, lots of metal. (Even though Brick and Mortar is not metal at all) But while were talking about it, favorite all time bands: The Cult, Cheap Trick, Jane’s Addiction, Motley Crue, and Keane.

Anything else you want to add?
It took me 39 years, but I have never been happier with my professional life.

Fill in the Blank: I’d love to see BLANK answer these questions.
David Spark from Spark Media Solutions. That would be amazing.
