“How I Work” is one of my favorite recurring features in Inc Magazine as well as via Lifehacker’s This Is How I Work Series, and recently several sales experts (including  Anthony IannarinoDave Brock and Trish Bertuzzi) participated as well.

Periodically moving forward we will feature a new B2B sales, marketing or business leader here answering what have become the standard “How I Work” questions.  You can catch up on everyone we’ve featured thus far in the “How I Work” series here.

This week I’m really excited to feature Chad Burmeister, vice president of sales & marketing for ConnectAndSell.  Chad is a fixture on the B2B circuit, regularly listed as one of the 25 most influential people in inside sales.  He’s a regular blogger, speaker and influencer on all things sales.

I honestly don’t know how he gets everything done.  Below, at least, are a few clues.  Enjoy!

What’s your workspace like?  Motivational pictures, a nice large Mac Monitor, and a putter that I RARELY use!  And a lot of memorabilia from conferences that we have attended like a signed flag from Pinehurst at the AA-ISP Executive Retreat 2014!

What’s your best time-saving shortcut or life hack?  www.sanebox.com

What everyday thing are you better at than anybody else?  Building a network, and attempting to add value for as many people in my network as posssible!

What’s your favorite to-do list manager?  My wife Tracey!

What do you listen to while at work? Sales calls from 7:30am to 6pm.

What are you currently reading?  Selling Above and Below the Line, by Skip Miller

What’s your sleep routine like?  11pm sleepy time, 5:55am wake time, and an occasional 2 hour re-charge nap time on a weekend!

What’s the best advice you’¹ve ever received?  Persist.
