Someone else will always work harder than you. Longer hours, greater production, more and better output.

Someone else will always be smarter, faster, better.

Someone else will always have an advantage you don’t. They’ll have access to things, win things, be places where you aren’t.

You can spend the rest of your life and career looking up at others, envying their position, coveting their advantage, fretting about why you can’t get there.

Or you can focus on what you have, what you can do, what progress you can make today.

Jealousy is a lose-lose game. You will never win.

Redirecting that time towards you’re own progress, ability, opportunity and success is really your only choice, but if you put your full attention there you’ll be far ahead of most.
