One spreadsheet to rule them all
There are countless project management tools out there, but sometimes a simple spreadsheet does the trick.
For example, below is a sample of a marketing project tracking tool I’ve used multiple times over. It’s a great way to keep track of dozens of concurrent projects, see quickly which projects need attention, and also “back burner” projects by functional area and/or objective until later.
Once you get it built and filled in, it’s surprisingly fast and easy to keep updated. And sharing this with colleagues and managers can not only show confidence & transparency, but also save you time in re-creating status reports each week.
