At this point of Covid regulations and quarantine every form of communication has been created and used just to stay in touch with everyone. Zoom has had the most success of them all and is being used so much in our work and personal lives, people have come down with ‘zoom fatigue’. During this time of creative communication and staying in touch with friends, family and coworkers I was introduced to an app called Voxer.
Voxer is a free walkie talkie app that’s great for group or team communication. You can utilize it as an instant messaging service, use it to leave audio message recordings for group members to listen to later, or they can listen live in real-time just like a walkie talkie. Alongside voice, you can send text messages, photos, videos, gifs, and even share your location to communicate effectively with group members. For added features they have a few different plans at prices that fit every budget.
Voxer let’s you create group chats with up to 500 individual or team contacts with no worries because data is sent through encrypted connections and stored in a secure cloud. If you are managing a team or large group, Voxer has multi-admin functionality to manage users and private network features to allow flexible control and easy settings management.
