It’s safe to say we’ve all downloaded some new apps since the pandemic hit. Most people are looking for a distraction from this tumultuous time we’re in, and that distraction comes in many forms. There are apps for gaming, online shopping, entertainment, learning new skills, and more.

Right now, my favorite kind of apps are wellness related. After all, it’s extra important we prioritize our health while forced to stay home, social distance, and prepare our bodies for potentially contracting a gnarly respiratory illness.

For me, that’s where Daily Burn comes in. It’s an app that allows you to stream at-home workouts of various types, intensities, duration, and paces. Moreover, the trainers are positive, inspiring, and energetic. They’re  just regular people who take extreme joy in helping other people reach their fitness goals and build confidence!

I rarely worked out before the pandemic hit, and now, I can’t get enough of this app. If I have a day where I need to get a lot of energy out, I’ll find a longer, more intense workout to get me breathing heavy and sweating buckets. But there are also days when I need to relax my mind, so I’ll find a yoga video. Other days, I barely want to move, which is where the 10-minute videos come in handy!

When searching for a workout, you can filter by things like “No Equipment”, “Abs Core”, “Kickboxing”, “Dance”, “Strength” and more. With 41 programs (sets of workouts over a determined period) and 2,149 workout videos and counting, you’re bound to find classes perfect for you.
