Three things about gratitude

Gratitude is free.

Gratitude is easy.

Gratitude takes nothing other than a habit of recognizing and acknowledging what’s already happening around you.

It’s so easy to take things for granted, to assume people know how much you respect and appreciate them.  But few of us say thank you enough, acknowledge efforts around us enough, or take the time to state what we’re thinking.

Gratitude in your head doesn’t count.  Gratitude benefits both parties when it’s expressed, freely, with nothing expected in return.

It’s a gift, free and limitless, and it builds incredible equity in the process.

Gratitude is the most important, most powerful, tool in your relationship-building toolbox.  It can be expressed by anyone, at anytime.

Do it genuinely, with humility.  But do it more often.
