The Heinz Marketing Must-Have Holiday Playlist 2018

By Joshua Baez, Marketing Consultant at Heinz Marketing

Well folks, it’s that time of year again. When the days get darker, but the nights grow brighter. The smell of pine and peppermint lingering in the air. And of course, that sweet, sweet sound of holiday music echoing from home to home. Sure, the traffic may suck and holiday shopping might be it’s own little nightmare, but hey, at the very least it just means more time to discover new holiday favorites.

With all that being said, I’d like to present to you all the third year of the Heinz Marketing Must-Have Holiday Playlist! Below, you’ll find a selection of our favorite Christmas songs that we just can’t stop listening to this year.

Let’s get festive!

Matt Heinz
Song: Grown Up Christmas List
Artist: David Foster

David Foster writes some seriously cheesy music and I CAN’T. STOP. LISTENING. This one is actually pretty good.

Maria Geokezas
Song: Let Go
Artist: FrouFrou

This is not a holiday song, instead it’s from a corny Holiday RomCom

Brian Hansford
Song: Baby, It’s Cold Outside
Artist: Dean Martin

I have always loved this tune. It’s a classic throwback.

Sheena McKinney
Song: Silent Night, Holy Night
Artist: Andy Williams

This was a favorite of my dad’s and as this will be my first Christmas without him, I will treasure this one, as hard as it is. He is missed very much!

Josh Baez
Song: What Are You Doing New Year’s Eve?
Artist: Ella Fitzgerald

Sure, not technically a “Christmas” song, but hey, definitely close enough. I just love the way this song plays out. And besides, who doesn’t love a little Ella?

Lisa Heay
Song: Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas
Artist: Sam Smith

I am a sucker for a holiday classic, and Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas is one of the best, in my mind. Though this isn’t the original, Sam Smith’s version stays simple and true to the song – no frills.

Brenna Lofquist
Song: Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas
Artist: Dan + Shay

Country has been my favorite genre this past year and what’s better than a classic holiday song sung by the lovely voices of country artists! These guys are great, if you enjoy country, check out their other music.

Lauren Dichter
Song: The Chanukah Song
Artist: Adam Sandler

I love regular holiday songs like the next guy, but thought I’d spice up this list with a different kind of classic. This hit puts a smile on my face, gets me to sing along with chutzpah (that’s yiddish for gusto), and reminds me to tell my friend Veronica it’s time to celebrate Chanukah.
