How I Work” is one of my favorite recurring features in Inc Magazine as well as via Lifehacker’s This Is How I Work Series, and recently several sales experts (including  Anthony IannarinoDave Brock and Trish Bertuzzi) participated as well.

Periodically moving forward we will feature a new B2B sales, marketing or business leader here answering what have become the standard “How I Work” questions.  You can catch up on everyone we’ve featured thus far in the “How I Work” series here.

This week I’m excited to feature Gregor Perotto.  Greg is a passionate marketing, communications and employee engagement professional and Senior Director of Marketing @DocuSign.  Suffice it to say, he gets stuff done.  Here, in his own words, is how he works:

Location:  30K feet with home bases in Seattle and Palm Springs

Current computers:  Apple Mac Book Pro (Work) and Apple iMac (Home)

Current mobile devices: iPhone 6, iPad

What apps/software/tools can’t you live without? Uber, Concur, DocuSign, Kevo, Instagram, Words With Friends

What’s your workspace like? Clean and clutter-free with a photo of my partner and my dogs, as well as hundreds of name badges from representing DocuSign as the global standard for DTM at events around the world

What’s your best time-saving shortcut or life hack? Good old-fashioned multi-tasking

What everyday thing are you better at than anybody else? Apparently modesty…I needed to ask others around me to help with this. They said: “building consensus”, “saving the day” and “bringing levity to most every situation.”

What’s your favorite to-do list manager? I keep it all in my head.

What do you listen to while at work? DJ Grind, Avicii

What are you currently reading? Flipboard on my iPhone which includes pretty much every auto magazine (Motor Trend, Car & Driver, Road & Track, Automobile, etc.), Seattle Foodies, Dwell, Lifehacker, Fortune, Forbes and Bloomberg. Trying to find time for Cockpit Confidential by Patrick Smith, but find I need to be on vacation to read a physical book.

What’s your sleep routine like?  Sugar-free Red Bull. I’ve been in SEA, SFO, NYC, LAX, PDX, MEX, GRU, LHR, CDG, AMS, NRT, PSP and PVR in the last 4 weeks alone.

What’s the best advice you’ve ever received?  Follow your passion and do what you love. Everything else – success, titles, money, etc. – will follow. (If you’d like an attribution, that’s from Sue Nokes)

Anything else you want to add? I believe everything happens for a reason; if it’s meant to be, it’s meant to be; and it will all work out in the end. That said, it’s up to you to make it happen and work out the way you want.

Fill in the Blank: I’d love to see BLANK answer these questions. Sue Nokes
